"There is no teacher but the enemy."

"Always mystify, mislead and surprise the enemy if possible."

"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles."
- Sun Tzu We have many guidelines and tips that we believe all players should play by. These are just a few, and they will be added to in time:
1. Know your maps! The only way that you can become a good player is to know the battlefield you play on. Some things to know are how far space is (to photon jump), the impact factor (lost health), and the distance across the entire map (weapon range). Accidental deaths and wasted ammo come from not knowing your area. When first getting the game or downloading a new map, explore it in a single player game first to learn its secrets. There are often hidden passages or hiding places in maps that may prove useful during a match.
2. Try to minimize damage whenever possible! The one problem that I see with all of the players in the game is that they meaninglessly jump off buildings and other stupid acts just to get a few points. These people wind up dying anyway because of these lost health points. So, after learning this, we have learned that in order to minimize damage, try to bounce off of low objects. For example, in CTF_VOY1, if you are stuck on top of a tower, try to fall off the sides and hit off of the angled walls by the photon burst and ammo. It significantly lowers damage and, if you time it right, it will totally prevent damage.
